Door Guard Controlled Access System   Strategic Product Planning Industrial Design Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Liaison   The Objective The Client needed their brand to be instantly recognizable in the security market, and they wanted to incorporate exciting new biometric technology into the new product family.   The Results We created a unifying design language for all their products and then provided complete product development on each one, from concept to final production parts. The harsh exterior environment required rugged materials, water sensitive assembly, and intuitive operating procedures. We created a modular design which allowed shared parts for multiple functions, greatly reducing manufacturing costs and resources compared to existing units. The use of 3D modeling sped uop the development process and time to market.
