Endovenous Laser Treatment (EVLT) Fiber Management System   User Research, Brand Strategy, Ergonomic Studies, Industrial Design, Graphic and Packaging Design, Mechanical Engineering   Objective Diomed asked us to improve the ergonomics of their EVLT surgical procedure and then design any products needed to accomplish that goal.   Results Our extensive user research at leading hospitals across the country showed differences in how surgeons of varying experience levels approached these procedures. As a result, we created multiple pathways for both novices and experts to acheive their goals, and then designed pre-packaged trays of fibers to suit their needs. These therapy kits are modular, and were designed for optimal dispensing and shipping.   We designed a patentable, proprietary hand-held product to dispense a variety of fibers that was easy to use and manufacture.
